#1 Want to do a route the other way round? When editing a route, just tap the three dots on mobile or click the up and down arrows in the desktop site’s sidebar to reverse the direction. #2 Want to end where you started? Routes you plan from scratch are set to one-way by default. Change it to a round trip by tapping into the menu and opting for ‘round trip’ or, on desktop and Android, also by tapping the start point (A). #3 Want to change where you start on a circular route? You can change the point on the loop you want to start at when customizing a route you’ve found or one you’ve already plotted, no replanning required. Just tap (or create) the waypoint you want to begin at, and press ‘change start’. Currently available on the desktop site and Android. #4 Want to keep an eye on the original route? When you’re customizing a route you’ve found or one you’ve previously planned, it’s useful to know where the original route was so you can drag it back if you, say, realize your change now includes the biggest hill ever. That’s why the original route shows up as a red line whenever you move the blue route line away from its original position. On desktop and Android, you can also use the back button to undo changes. | |
